| Who Are We?Probus is a volunteer, non-profit, non-sectarian organization whose goal is to provide Fellowship, Friendship, and Fun for retired and semi-retired men and women. Our clubs are about staying active in retirement with monthly presentations on current topics, tours, lunches and socializing with other retirees in the community. Growing out of Rotary clubs in England in 1965, Probus has grown to over 4,000 autonomous clubs worldwide with 250 in Canada made up of over 35,000 members. There are 10 clubs in Alberta and our club has over 100 members. We also welcome spouses and partners of club members who often participate in social activities or join the club. At our monthly meetings, we come together over coffee to hear invited speakers on a variety of topics. Lunch usually follows at a local restaurant. As well, we host regular tours and events, which include concerts and cultural activities, dining experiences, and visits to local points of interest. The monthly meeting and membership activities generate goodwill and a sense of fellowship and community among our members, who have rich and diverse backgrounds, interests, and experiences. Anyone interested in our club is encouraged to contact us using the Contact Us page on this website and to come to one of our meetings: 10:00 AM on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except December) Ramada
