Steve Glassman is a distinguished entertainment executive producer and communications consultant with over four decades of experience in international media production. Recognized as one of Canada’s leading figures in the entertainment industry, he has played a pivotal role in the development and production of numerous award-winning television and radio series, documentaries, and variety specials.
He was a senior executive entertainment producer for CBC for over 35 years. He served as a consulting producer for Just for Laughs, for over 15 years, the world-renowned entertainment company based in Montreal. Glassman also served as a communications consultant to the CEO of a billion dollar US-based pharmaceutical company.
Based in Edmonton, Glassman continues to work on projects across Canada and internationally through his communications consulting company, Glassman Productions. Most recently he helped produced a feature length documentary movie titled Peggy and Balmer with Clearwater Documentary, a highly acclaimed production company in Edmonton, as well as developing projects with the University of Alberta, a documentary on Ian Tyson and on Artificial intelligence.
Through his extensive contributions to Canadian media, Glassman has helped shape the landscape of television and documentary storytelling, cementing his legacy in the entertainment industry.
